Summary:
A MaintenanceMechanicis responsible forperforming ongoing corrective, predictive and preventative maintenance for the process equipmentand utility equipment.This role requires the ability to perform mechanical and electrical troubleshootingtoensureoptimaloperation of the processand utilityequipment. The Maintenance Technicianreportstothe Maintenance Manager.
This role requires full-time, on-site presence five days per week. Candidates must be available for on-call support outside typical business hours. Future shift-based scheduling may be introduced, and flexibility to work designated shifts will be expected.
Responsibilities:
Complete emergency repair, rebuilding,changeoverand inspection work on process related equipment. Install, inspect, test, adjust,repairand perform line turnarounds, changeovers, and preventative maintenance per established procedures ina timelyand efficient manner.
Complete documentation and required functions in the work order system to close out activities in compliance withcGMPs.
Responsible forequipment andsystem performance through data monitoring within the assigned operating area.
Use a variety of testing, tools, and measuring equipment in the efficient maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic, environmental monitoring, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical line equipment.
Install new equipment and oversee equipment upgrades according to site SOPs.
Perform 5S activities andmaintainorganization of operating areas.
Perform work requirements in a responsible manner, in accordance with SOPs,cGMPsand established safety procedures in accordance with OSHA requirements and guidelines.
Be familiar with “Material Safety Data Sheets” for area chemicals.
Maintain records and/or logs asrequiredin performance of job responsibilities. This will include mathematical computation where needed.
Work with minimal supervision under the direction of the MaintenanceManager.
Utilizeappropriate ProblemSolving and Troubleshooting techniques to complete equipment repairs.
Some overtimeor shift workwill berequiredwith prior notice to support business needs.
MinimumQualifications:
High school diploma with6years of relevant experience, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or related field.
Minimum of 2years of experiencewithin a GMP biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of GMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and industry best practices related to equipment maintenance and reliability.
Excellent communication skillsandexperience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance-related documentation in a regulated environment.
Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations related to facility and equipment maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications:
State of Marylandrequiredlicenses/certifications.
Experience with risk-based maintenance approaches and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
The annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position ranges from $71,749 to $107,624. Our positions offer eligibility for various incentives—an opportunity to receive short-term incentive bonuses, equity-based awards for salaried roles and commissions for sales roles.Benefits offered include qualified retirement programs, paid time off (i.e., vacation, holiday, and leaves), as well as health, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
Compensation Pay Range:
71,749.60 - 107,624.40 USD AnnualThe annual base pay (or hourly rate of compensation) for this position is outlined above. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
